New Custom Home with Large Decks - Amazing Views - Pool Table/New Hot Tub

NOTE: 4WD/AWD required in winter with snow tires (Thanksgiving through late March). Chains can be rented in the neighborhood for $30/day.

Our 2,700 square foot, 4 bedroom, 3.5 bath, custom home is situated on an acre, adjacent to National Forest and just 3 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort .

Only 3 miles from Purgatory Ski Resort and 25 miles from historic downtown Durango, yet the residence offers privacy and seclusion and tons of amenities - pool table, large outdoor space, views, 2 separate living spaces, Direct TV, Gas grill, super fast Starlink WIFI (around 100mbs), washer/dryer.

Bed Configuration:
Master - King with Ensuite Bath (Main Floor)
2nd Master - King with Ensuite Bath (2nd Floor)
3rd Bedroom- Queen (2nd Floor)
4th Bedroom - 2 sets of bunk beds (twin over twin) and 3 beds in one of the bunk beds with TV - (2nd Floor)

This home is pet friendly! We allow a maximum of 2 dogs max and the pet fee is $40/day (for a max $250 per stay).

Please note that, like most properties in the area, this home does not have AC, as it is uncommon for homes at this elevation. Temperatures inside the property are easily managed by using fans and opening the windows at night when temperatures drop into the 40s.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

Our family had an amazing time during our stay in this beautiful home. Very clean and organized, it is stocked with everything you could need during your stay. With amazing views, private setting and big deck; it was the perfect space to unplug and relax. The location was also ideal as a base camp for day trips hiking around the Silverton and Durango areas. Management is very responsive, helpful and kind. We had a great time and would come back for sure!

Perfect Family Home

The property was perfect for our group of eight and just as pictured. We enjoyed the hot tub & pool table, and the kitchen was nicely stocked. Our questions were answered quickly and someone was sent out promptly to add water and treat the hot tub. Thank you for letting us stay!

This property suited our needs perfectly. It was also located in the most beautiful area with breathtaking views of the mountains. The house had the best stocked kitchen. The house itself has plenty of space for large groups and the ratio of bedrooms and bathrooms was very accommodating.we would love to return to this property in the future.

Gorgeous house and views

The house was impressively furnished, including well stocked linens and kitchen (cookware, spices, cleaning products). We enjoyed playing pool and used the hot tub a few times, it was very clean! We had to buy cheap beach towels so recommend mgmt buys some for the spa/lake use. We definitely recommend the house to others. It should be noted the gravel/dirt road to the house is fairly narrow and steep. And the gravel driveway could use some finish work, like a paved sidewalk to the porch. There’s no garage, which might be important in winter. Also need a pathway to the back deck from the driveway parking area.

Dallas to Durango trip

We loved sitting out on the deck with the beautiful deck and the space inside was very comfortable. The house had everything we needed. We would definitely stay there again. It takes about 25 minutes to get into town but it was so nice being away from town before it was cooler up high and so quiet. We would not wasn’t to drive home in the dark. We enjoyed simple dinners at home while eating on the deck with the amazing views.

Love this house!!

Best VRBO in Durango! Our group absolutely loved this property. We had a few minor issues, but they were taken care of right away. I was extremely pleased in how fast the property managers got back to me. We will definitely stay again!

December Stay With Family

We had a group of five adults and four teenagers staying the week before Christmas. We absolutely loved the house, and have zero complaints. There was plenty of room for everyone, plenty of towels, and the kitchen was extremely well-stocked (including cute dog bowls for our pups). The property manager was very helpful when we asked for suggestions on where we could go sledding. We will definitely consider this house when we return to the area.

Wedding in colorado

We loved the property. Big beautiful home. Nice big deck and the furniture was new and comfortable. Beds where comfortable too. My only complaint is that I could have used an egg pan and some small pots. There were lots of big pots but not any small or medium ones. And lots of frying pans but not any with Teflon. Also the drive up from the major road is long and extremely bumpy. The house is beautiful and I would definitely stay again!!

We very much enjoyed our stay. The kitchen was extremely well stocked and the house was very clean. The proximity to Purgatory was great since our primary focus of the trip was to ski. The photos in the listing very accurately portray the house.

Immaculate Secluded Home

My Wife, Son, and I came for a few days looking to get some R&R in the mountains. The house looked brand new and was very clean and modern. We loved the huge patio and the views it provided of the cliffs during the day and the stars at night. Pool table was a fun bonus once the sun went down. Town is a bit of a drive, but the scenery along the way is fabulous so you don't even notice. Would definitely come back here again with more friends or family to take advantage of all the rooms and extra beds. There would be plenty of room for several more people. Only downside was beds were a bit firm for our liking, may suggest to owners to do a soft layers in there to add a little squish.

Beautiful House in the Trees!

We loved this house! Stayed with 4 adults and 4 children ages 9-11. The views from the deck were gorgeous. Kitchen was well stocked. Kids loved the bunk room and the pool table. The house is very close to the ski resort but a good 30 minutes from town, so had to be strategic about planning our day. Would definitely recommend it.

Loved This House

We absolutely loved the house! Plenty of room for the three couples traveling. The kitchen was amazing with high end appliances and cooking tools! Everything was clean and tidy. The only negative was the construction noise from a home close by, but that was not the fault of the owner or manager. Would definitely recommend this home to anyone traveling to the area!!
