"Before arriving I emailed the owner and asked if there were any other instructions or info I needed to check in? He replied no, have a great weekend. So upon arrival we encounter a key lock, which we had anticipated but saw there was no code included in any of our correspondence? So here we are, at our destination, after 5 hours of driving and we’re stuck on the porch! I messaged the host, and while waiting on a response we unloaded our luggage and supplies, and sat on the porch. I’m sure it was...

"This was a very quiet relaxing spot. The view from the hotel room is gorgeous. The patio overlooking Lake Cumberland was so relaxing. Rent a boat or bring one it is a boaters dream come true. The office staff was great very friendly. House keeping was great. I would highly recommend this location. The areas around was great. All the parks and nature areas. The views are breath taking. We were only three hours away from home. A vacation we truly needed . "

"We wanted a place to relax at the end of our holiday and this place was absolutely perfect. The view from the balcony was superb and it was very special to see the big birds soaring over the lake and trees. In the evening we enjoyed the bbq and watching fireflies whilst sat around the fire pit. The house was extremely comfortable and all communication with Suzanne was excellent. Would thoroughly recommend and would love to return one day. "

"The house was perfect with all the extra little touches that made it extra special. Our kids loved the upstairs area and the fire pit area. The driveway was perfect for pulling our boat in and out of with no issues. Close to everything but also still private. Great weekend. "

"The house was nice and new as the photos show. It was a little too secluded from civilization with no WiFi. It also had no direct lake access. There house didn’t look like it had been cleaned. Our feet were black from the floors by the end of the first night. The dishes were dirty, the towels were dirty, and the bedspread in the bunk room had white residue on it that looked like c*m. Random bugs everywhere upon arrival. I tried to complain to the owner and asked for the cleaning fee back because...

"I highly recommend Shawn and his property! He will do a great job accommodating all your needs. I unfortunately made a mistake when making my reservation and he was very understanding and helpful. We will definitely be booking with him agian!"

"This house is incredibly cute and cozy. We had a family vacation to Kentucky where 11 of us met up. This house was perfect, big enough to accommodate all of us and not to far from Mammoth caves. The house was well stocked and wonderful! They had an awesome book with all sorts of suggestions on what to do in the area and places to eat. "

"I was in town for my nieces wedding and had adult kids with me .. we came in early...and it was an absolute beautiful and quiet place to relax and prepare . I would definitely recommend for anyone even looking for a short stay or extended way to escape. Communication with hosts was fabulous and so thoughtful. "
