"What an amazing cottage and location. Our host was responsive and helpful and they provide an incredible amount of amenities that make your stay ever more comfortable. The cottage itself is well cared for and the grounds are well kept. The lake is a bit of a hike at 500m but they have a beautiful set up with multiple docks and locations to bask in a very private part of the lake. We did find the Sauna tough to use in terms of keeping a consistent fire going. They include a plethora of water toys...

"The location of the stay is good with access to waterbody and surrounded by woods with good Fall view all the way from the nearby town. There’s room for lots of improvement for the property. The running tap water at the house is yellowish, which I believe they do not have a good filter system. Also, the property was not built complete which caused heating and power issues throughout. "This property has everything we needed to make our stay relaxing and enjoyable for my husband and I, our adult daughter, our teenage son and his friends. Right on the lake, we swam, canoed, used the kayaks, fished and sat around the fire almost every night. It’s also a bonus that it’s pet-friendly!!! Our pup LOVED it! The nights were so quiet and the stars were amazing too! Perfect week away from the noise of the GTA. "

"Upon arrival we found dead bugs on the inside of the cottage likely from windows being left open. Septic tank was beyond full which meant the toilets backed up/flooded and flooded into the shower. Owner had a septic guy come out to empty the tank but the pipes must've been so far gone because of the full septic tank that the issues continued even after the septic tank was empty. "Property host was quick to communicate during booking and check in process. Property manager/cleaner is right next door for any issues and to give local recommendations. Area is quiet and the layout of the house made sure all relatives had a comfortable place to sleep. Take the canoe or kayaks onto the water and explore the lake. There is a town market on Saturdays which was a bonus as well as some quick bites to eat just a few minutes away. "

"We had a great time at this little cottage. The property was clean and tidy. The host provided indoor and outdoor games which was really nice for the whole family to enjoy. The beach was a 5-7 minute walk from the property. Overall, it was a nice experience for everyone!"
