"My husband and I spent two weeks in the Deanston cottage and we really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was clean, comfortable and well-equipped. "I was looking for something different and this really fit the bill. I was travelling with my husband and 2 adult sons. The boys took the twin beds, that left my husband and I on the sofa bed. As with all sofa beds, it was very uncomfortable and squeaky. We felt every spring all night. If feasible, bring a duvet to sleep on and use the provided one to sleep under. The museum is interesting but closed on a Tuesday and Wednesday as is the little cafe. I would stay again but probably book 2 huts so...
