Small and friendly traditional home

Here is your answer -

This is a studio apartment with double bed (160x200 cm), kitchen, bathroom and a terrace on the ground floor. There is an air conditioning in the apartment. In the kitchen there is electric stove, fridge, microwave, filter coffee machine and kettle. There is no oven and washing machine. Bed linens and bathroom towels are provided, beach towels are not provided. Private parking is in front of the apartment.
Waterfront with sunbeds is just accross the street 30 m and it is shared among other guests staying in the house.
Just 10 minutes from the busy city centre on a peaceful village road, and only a short walk from the bus stop, this Small and friendly traditional home sits in the beautifully tranquil Zaton Bay.

There are several restaurants and two well equipped mini-markets near the bus stop, and several other good restaurants a gentle stroll away, within easy walking distance around the bay. Sunbathe on the sun terrace with your sun bed & umbrella. Or, if you are feeling more energetic we have sup boards and boat for hire, and boat trips to the Islands.

Swimming is only 30 meters from the apartment and without encountering a long, hot climb up the cliffs, which is more usual around the Dubrovnik. You just have to cross the road and hop in.

We stayed in the small studio and were comfortable. There are two electric rings (hob) a microwave, toaster, kettle, fridge and I cooked nearly every evening.It was just a hop across the road to the sunloungers and the beautiful bay. We arranged airport transfers with our hosts and all went very smoothly. Advise getting the early bus into Dubrovnik to avoid the crowds which are fairly chaotic by 10am, although the 7.15 bus also seems to be the school bus on weekdays! The Dubrovnik pass is well worth the money as you have unlimited access to the city bus which we used to go to and from the bus station to the Old Town instead of getting off the bus after the tunnel and having a long (for me) hot walk into the old town. There is also a large Konsum supermarket by the bus station although the small Zaton Mali supermarket has most things. It was our first trip to Croatia and we were impressed with the beauty, the friendly welcome and efficiency.

Absolute gem

We had an amazing time. Loved everything about our stay. The host Anita was very welcoming and if I had questions then I received answers asap. Thank you so much. We stayed 50m away from the rest of the apartments but we wanted our own little place. Outside on the patio we ate and space to hang the washing. Inside all what we needed. Small cooking area with fridge/freezer. On the other side where the other apartments are we used the outside swimming area. Plenty of loungers around and swimming was heaven. Small boats around but the water was so clear which I didn’t expect. Everything was clean and pictures doesn’t give justice how beautiful this area is. I can only recommend this stay and hopefully I will be back.

Stay in Zaton

We had a great time in Zaton . The location of the studio is excellent. A quiet village in a magnificent bay ,with everything, groceries restaurants ,a nice spot to swim and 10 mn walk to the bus to Dubrovnik. The host Theresa was very welcoming and helpful. The studio itself was OK, very basic small and could have some improvement: vent in the shower, more tools in the kitchen. But overall we had a good time there.

Good location to visit Dubrovnik from.

Host(S) are friendly and helpful. Apartment was compact but clean. Easy access to the Zaton bay. The property owners offer a small boat cruise to blue cave, 3 green caves and a sand beach. Very convenient way to explore the caves without travelling to the port. Walking distance to grocery store and restaurants and bus top

Tranquil

Stayed in this property with family and friends. We had 3 parts - the 2 bedroom apartment, the 1 bedroom and the studio. All beautifully clean. Hosts were extremely accommodating and helpful. A jewel of a location. Only one drawback the a/c in the 2 bedroom is in the kitchen not bedrooms.

Great experience!

My wife and I truly enjoyed our stay. We were there to celebrate our honeymoon and we absolutely would do it again. The apartment was in a very cute town within walking distance to restaurants and markets. Going into the city was easy with the bus. Our host was absolutely amazing! Everyone was so hospitable and kind. 10/10. We hope we can come back in the future!
