"This cabin in the lake is a gem. It’s everything you need and super well equipped and organized. The owner was very responsive. It’s a beauty on the lake with a private dock, a beautiful back porch overlooking the lake, a picnic/grill area with table and chairs also overlooking the lake. It was 25 minutes from Tech, so very convenient. "

"Pictures and descriptions are accurate. Was the perfect set up for 3 of us to get out and do some fishing on the lake. Great outdoor sitting space in a quiet cove. Simple and relaxing spot, which is exactly what we were looking for. Had a great time during our stay."

"Bedrooms were great, separate sides of the house. Dining area was nice for eating and playing Uno. The living room was a good hangout for movies and snow flurry watching. The whole house was nicely heated. Great location for game day!"

The pool was cleaned every other day during our stay. The owner is very responsive.The house was spacious and well-kept. "My 20 year old daughter and I enjoyed our stay here. She mentioned that the furniture was “outdated, but okay”. I didn’t mind the older furniture. Every couch and bed was very comfortable! I guess I should start at the beginning. As stated in the description, the driveway is very steep. There is a single lane road that leads to the house. If there had been a vehicle coming the other direction, there was nowhere to pull over. However, we did not see any other vehicles on the road during our stay....

"This was a great few days for my family and I celebrating a VT graduation. Beautiful home, and a really cool location. The town has an awesome shop with a cafe super close. The host was attentive and friendly. Would recommend!"

"We really enjoyed this location this year, we have stayed at others before, but this one is by far the nicest. Beds are all comfortable, and the location is good for fishing Walker Creek and the New River. And the local friendly dog came every evening to hang out. He loves Hot dogs!"

"House was comfortable, clean and well stocked. We were hiking a section of the AT and it was very convenient to several trailheads and a store in Bland. We enjoyed relaxing on the front porch after our hikes amongst the peaceful countryside and friendly grazing cows! Awesome sunsets as a bonus."

"This was a family trip to visit family nearby. We stayed 2 nights, it was so relaxing. Sitting on the porch enjoying the river was our favorite part. The home was very clean and the hosts made everything so simple for check in and check out. I would stay here again when going to the area. Very easily slept 5, back yard was fully fenced for the kids, on a quiet country road. "
