Casa de época renovada con interior tranquilo, cómodo y acogedor. Situadas en los muelles de Dublín, donde las grúas gigantescas dominan el paisaje marino. La casa ha sido restaurada con expertos consejos arquitectónicos y ejecutada por expertos artesanos de Dublín. Está amueblado con piezas victorianas originales. The house was great and we had an amazing time in Dublin. Beds were comfortable, the kitchen is very well stoked and the amenities perfect. The only negative comment I can make is that no taxi drivers seem to know where it is and you could include better directions and a complete address. Otherwise, a great place to stay, a real hidden gem.

Place was okay for 2 people but there was 4 of us with no place to sit for 2 people. Beds said queen very small queens. Location was not easy access to downtown- previous comments were Uber was inexpensive- not true each Uber ranged from 25 to 35 one way. Could have used the train but 15 walk in pouring rain. Password provided for wifi was not correct. Ended up calling owner said the system had just been changed he wasn’t sure of the new one. Finally figured it out on our own. Backyard was overgrown not usable on the nice day we had while there. Would be a great place for a couple that wanted to close themselves off for a few days but not for more than 2 people who wanted to see the sites. Toll bridge fee a couple of times with Uber and taxi. No garbage cans/bags anywhere? None in the bathroom or kitchen. Bathroom had 2 small towel racks for hand towels but nothing for bath towels-no bathroom cabinets for toothbrush shampoo etc…so you had to carry everything up to your room. Just okay not a Wow I was expecting

The cottage is very cute and well renovated. Despite this there are a few niggles I'm afraid! It is right alongside the docks so can be pretty noisy with the cranes going at all hours - ok if you're sleeping in the back room or a heavy sleeper but worth being aware of this if you're not!There are only 2 easy chairs in the lounge area - it's a shame there's a second table instead of more comfy seating as city breaks are so tiring. We had to take turns in sitting comfortably which nobody really wants! I've given three stars for cleanliness as I'm afraid the bathroom fell short of our expectations in this respect. There was a constant sewerage smell which wasn't very pleasant. There was no bin and the soap provided was a grubby hard coal tar soap already used by previous guests to wash goodness knows where - most unhygienic :( It would have been nice and cost hardly anything if the owner had left some milk and teabags. After walking with our luggage from the tram to the house we were desperate for a cuppa but were left very disappointed - with the nearest shop is quite a walk away we just couldn't bring ourselves to turn out again! All in all our stay was pleasant enough but could have been a five star one with some thought for the guest experience.

Lovely rental, had everything you would need except the wifi was down the entire time we were there which was disappointing, forcing us to use data etc to stay in touch with family and friends back in Canada. Owner was very apologetic and easily contacted.

Draps sales, serviettes des anciens locataires encore presentes. Habits sales sur la machine.Bruit des containers incessants toute la nuit dans une des chambres. Tres proche du port.Logement et equipement corrects avec un certain charme.Assez loin des transports en commun.Pour 266 par nuit nous nous attendions a plus de proprete et de tranquillité

le logement est correct, mais il nous a fallu 1 heure pour trouver l'entrée du cottage, celui-ci se trouve dans une cour et il n'y a aucune indication de numéros lorsque vous êtes dans la rue, nous avons payé 50 % plus cher de taxi car il ne trouvais pas le cottage, malgré un appel du chauffeur de taxi au propriétaire pendant 15 minutes. Le four était sale et le coin jardin n'était pas nettoyer. Le cottage se trouve a proximité du port d'où une nuisance sonore la nuit lors des déchargement des contenaires et pas de volet aux fenêtres qui pourrais empêcher ces nuisances. Si non , très belle décoration dans le cottage, très typique irlandais.Cordialemnt

We arrived at this charming and quaint cottage after a long flight. Billy, the host, was kind, accommodating and communicated via the messaging app. He gave clear and detailed instructions about the appliances and features in the home, and gave and helpful hints about transit and restaurants and pubs nearby. The cottage itself was so cool! I loved the variety of books on the bookshelf and the decor was eclectic and calming. The beds were comfortable as was the cottage. The location is excellent, close to buses and within walking distance to the city centre. The stairs were steep, which is something to keep in mind if travelling with older folks/people with mobility issues. We had trouble figuring out the shower, but that was likely operator error. I’m thankful this is the first place we stayed on our trip; it set the tone for a marvellous adventure.

Maison meublée avec goût, ambiance cottage à l’ancienne, original et atypique. Boîte à clé permet une arrivée flexible. Ménage insatisfaisant : serviettes mouillées dans le lave linge, poubelle mal nettoyée, pas de sac poubelle remis. Dans la salle de bain, pas de savon dans la baignoire. Pas de sèche cheveux. Manque de confort : un des lits doubles est plus étroit que la moyenne, non précisé dans l’annonce. La communication a pu se faire mais manque d’accueil et de réactivité.Quartier éloigné des transports mais 2 cartes de transport à disposition bien appréciables. Ambiance dock industriel.

We absolutely loved this place. It's very charming and comfortable. The kitchen was well-equipped. Beds were very comfortable.The location is interesting. It's about a 15-minute pleasant walk to the nearest shops, which wasn't a problem for us. Even though it's across the road from a large active shipping port, noise was never a problem at all. The neighbors were quiet as well. It was a nice haven after busy days exploring the city.The next time we visit Dublin we'll definitely try to stay here. In an ideal world I'd take an extra few weeks to explore Billy's remarkable library.

I stayed in this lovely cottage on St. Paddy's Weekend with three other friends. During such a busy time, this place was tucked away in a quiet neighborhood which was a nice break at times. The host was very communicative and helpful beforehand and during our stay which we appreciated! Overall, if you're looking for a great option on a busy weekend, I would highly recommend it!

We really enjoyed our stay here. I like the quiet location, but yet close enough to the city centre that we could walk. We'd walk to the Dockland shop area for breakfast, then continue walking into the city centre for our destinations. We also found it to be a safe location. Maybe all of Dublin is, but even the neighbors reassured us. The house itself was perfect, nice bedrooms, and living space. No couch, and tiny TV, but we didn't come to Dublin for that :) Also, the garden was not in bloom, so the photo shows differently than online. I'd still stay here again, having parking in Dublin so we could take day trips further out was easy.

Wonderful cottage within walking distance to the park, pubs and restaurants. The bus stop is just a few minutes' walk to catch the bus into Dublin City. The cozy fireplace was perfect for a relaxing nightcap. Highly recommend this place!

We stayed at this property for 3 nights. The host was responsive to messages and allowed us to check in early, which was very gracious. He said he had communicated with housekeepers and it was ready to go. Upon arrival, there was a pile of laundry in the entrance and the beds were stripped of sheets. We chalked this up to miscommunication and the price of checking in early, no problem. The only other issue was we were only given 2 rolls of toilet paper for 3 days, so we had to buy some. However, these issues were small and not a big deal. Overall, the accommodations were lovely and cozy. We so enjoyed sitting by the fireplace and the coastal location. The house was filled with lots of neat art and more books than you could ever ask for. It was clean and well kept. A great stay overall!

We came to Dublin for the Marathon in October. We were delighted with Billy’s cottage. It is exactly as described. Billy’s information and instructions are clear and accurate. Checking in was a breeze. The cottage is filled with character and charming details. The beds are so cozy and the fireplace is an especially lovely feature. It was easy to use the bus - especially the S2. We were very happy with the comfort and value of the accommodation.

This is a thoughtfully restored cottage with an interesting history in a neighborhood that is transitioning as homeowners re-establish period dwellings. It is well stocked with basic necessities. Host provides an abundance of firewood which we appreciated as there is a lovely fireplace in the living area that provides a cozy place to rest after a busy day sightseeing. We chose to ditch the car while in Dublin. The bus was an easy 15 minute walk away. Alternatively, taxis had no problem finding us. Property is directly across from a working dockyard, so there is a little noise, but it was quiet at night. If the weather is fine, there is a private detached garden that is very nice. The back of this picturesque cottage faces the street, so you need to walk around to the other side of the building to access the entrance. It is well-lit at night. William is an attentive host. We were having problems with the eSIMs in our phones, so texting was problematic, but William used all the other modes of communication to make sure we received his careful, detailed information and instructions.

The owner of the property provided good communication. The pictures of the home make it appear much larger than it is. There is no couch to sit on and the chairs downstairs are uncomfortable. Very challenging for a family of 4. The garden is a weed patch. I have photos and was really disappointed. It could be a lovely spot. The cottage is a 15 minute at least drive downtown and is across the street from a shipyard. Shipyards work 24/7 so it is a bit noisy.

We loved our time here! The taxi driver had a hard time finding it but william sent me detailed instructions before we arrived so i was able to tell the taxi driver how to get to the property. We loved the location. We loved being right by ringsend park. We walked to and from city center every day, it took about 40 mins but we loved it.
