2024 Labor Day Trip

The property is beautiful! The pictures and descriptions were very accurate and we had everything that we needed to enjoy our stay with our kids and grandkids. A new pavillion was just added and it is also beautiful. The location is private nestled in a wooded area. Great experience.

A great place out in the woods

We had the entire family in two cabins close by … it was an excellent place to gather after the memorial services … clean, neat, quiet, handicap accessible with ground floor bedrooms … nice washer & dryer … lovely, open kitchen with lots of seating and ample kitchen cooking utensils… thanks!

House was great including location there was on issue. The split unit in master bedroom sounded like a diesel truck running all night long. All in all beautiful place.

Beautiful Home

We are a group of 5 women who have been friends for 50+ years. Go away together annually. Didn’t have much time this year so we stayed close. Beautiful home, awesome location, quiet, and clean. Had an amazing time!!! Unfortunately, didn’t see an Elk, but heard lots bugling.

Slice of heaven

My family and I had a absolutely fantastic stay. The pictures on line do not do this place justice. For a family that loves the outdoors this was a perfect place for us with the elk visiting the yard at dinner time. The home was done very nicely with everything we could have needed.

Weekend Getaway

This was the perfect place for a quiet winter weekend away from the everyday responsibilities. We saw some elk up close along the road and did some on site hiking to see more farther away. The cabin was extremely clean and comfortable. We wished there was a hairdryer but other than that, everything we could need was there. Having four wheel drive was very helpful especially the last few miles. It was a quiet and peaceful place and we wished we could’ve stayed longer.

Wonderful place to relax!

The pictures of the property were gorgeous and it did not disappoint! The house was extremely clean and well stocked and beautifully decorated. Very spacious rooms and comfortable beds and seating. We loved the fire ring and deck with hot tub for when we were outside. We were visited by an elk a couple of times during our stay. We only went for a long weekend but plan to be back next year for at least a week! Thank you so much!

Lazy days at Lazy Bear

We have enjoyed our stay at Lazy Bear. Everything about the facility is fantastic. The elk were in view at all the viewing places. This is a very well thought out property. It was an enjoyable stay.

Beautiful out of way

The property was beautiful and close to the Elk Visitor center. The home had tons of extra touches of home that were so appreciated. We packed tons of supplies that other rentals don't usually supply, but this rental did. A home that was designed for family enjoyment and comfort. Loved it!
