"It was a gorgeous room and bathroom all looked brand new. Huge TV on the wall toiletries & hairdryer, iron, kettle, tea, water, earplugs & lovely kingsize bed. 80 yards from St Helens train station & carpark where I left my car overnight. Would stay again if back in St Helens."

"Friendly and accommodating when we need to leave the car prior to an event and before check in at 3pm. Breakfast was reasonable and part of a deal booked through Expedia. When asked for fresh items, provided these. Had gf options also for breakfast. Reception open 24 hours but no out of hours food options on our return on Sunday as advertised or informed. Bar available and reasonably priced. Have used the same hotel when visiting area before and would happily return."

"Our room was wonderful and the hotel was the perfect base for our trip, but the breakfast set up was awful. Food running out, cutlery and plates, running out. Massive queues for the coffee machines etc it was chaos. For such a big hotel, it needs to be better organised. Also, when we were there they were showing one of the England games in the bar, which we were really pleased about but the bar is tiny, the screen seemed smaller than the one we had in our room and the sound was off!! Very very...

"Friendly and helpful owner, Pail who made us feel welcome on arrival. Shared a lot of useful tips on where to go and to eat only issue is that the steps leading to the entrance not easy to access with heavy luggage."

"all good really, Just upset on the friday night there was no bar open. We had to go to petrol station to buy wine instead and had it in our room. Reception very friendly. Also no signs on the main road to say where the hotel was. Its set back from main road but address says edge lane. Its behind shell garage if we knew that it would have been big help."

"This hotel is in a great location for travelling from Liverpool Airport! Access is easy and rooms are quiet and comfortable with all the amenities tea/coffee and iron! We missed breakfast because of an early flight. Continental is served from 4am and buffet from 6am. I have added a pic which shows the departure terminal across from the hotel this was taken from our room. Highly recommended 👌"
