This was one of the best bookings I have ever experienced. I traveled with my 11 year old son, 9 year old niece, and my mother.
Cleanliness- everything was very neat, clean, and tidy. I really appreciated the exterior flood lights as night fell.
Amenities- fully stocked kitchen (bring some coffee), towels, blankets, linens all provided. Washer and dryer are also included however, dryer may take a few cycles in order to dry the load (not a huge deal for us). Chairs to sit around the fire pit, complementary smores fixins with matches, and large firewood stack are all provided-there is even a pair of binoculars hanging on wall for you to use. Basement provides a pool table, darts, and air hockey table with another large sectional couch which is not pictured in the vrbo ads...this sectional is much bigger and provides more seating than the futon that is pictured. Pool table rails sometimes catch the pool balls and they need to be manually removed, but again, this wasn't a big deal to us. The large amount of seating available on the wrap around porch is amazing. LOVED this. WIFI has been installed, but can at times be somewhat weak, however, worked for kids to play on devices, and basic internet usage. Was not great for video calls, but was absolutely functional for basic things. VERY LIMITED TO NO CELL SERVICE. Satellite television is provided. All furniture was very comfortable. We loved the sectional couch in the living area.
Location- Fantastic location. Secluded, but not far from main roads and towns. Cabin is only a few miles from interstate 81 and Rt. 100. Its about 30 minutes from Wytheville, about 20 minutes from Pulaski, about 50 minutes from Marion, and an hour from Roanoke.
Overall, this was a great booking and stay. It is absolutely gorgeous from the mountain/river views, to the birds and wildlife, to the amazing starscapes at night. Anisidi was VERY spacious for all of us, with so much room inside and outside to enjoy. I actually felt as thought the cabin was bigger than what the pictures show online. The location is unbeatable. We visited so many small towns and main streets during our stay and enjoyed experiencing the local shops/restaurants. I will absolutely return and have already recommended this rental to friends and family!
