"The bar, the breakfast and the room were all nostalgic, clean and comfortable. The meals we had there were delightful and homey. Not to mention how delightful the staff were! I definitely recommend, wish we could have stayed long and can't wait to visit again! "

"This was a welcome change to our 2+ weeks in hotels. It was beautiful. Extremely comfortable and had every special touch you can imagine. We stayed in the Marble unit and the tub, toiletries, bed and window treatment/video screen were all divine! "

"I've stayed in many B&Bs in my life, and I can confidently say this is one of the best experiences I've had. The place is perfect, spotlessly clean, the hostess welcomed us with charm (and gave excellent advice), and the breakfast was delicious. Every detail is carefully thought out, right down to the binoculars available at the entrance. Too bad I have to cross the ocean to come back!"

"All went well. My only critique is we had no idea how to get into the house upon arrival, or find the specific house. We were in a foreign country and this was our first house. Having an email sent saying "When you arrive the house looks like this and here is where to find it" would have helped. Also a note saying how to get into the house (We called the owner which took a long time to figure out how to do in a foreign country) and was told house was unlocked and key was inside. "Decent property but very noisy. All guests can be heard between rooms. Only cereal and some yogurt for breakfast. Restaurants there don’t open until 10 am so more choices at the hotel would be good. "

"We loved our 3 day stay here. Richard and his staff were excellent, very engaging, helpful with ideas and information about the area. The food was excellent. Very central for getting around by train, but also has room for cars. Would totally recommend staying here. "
