"Strongly not recommended Terrible service and a clear violation of Serbian law. we had to fight for the most basic comforts, and received only rudeness. The biggest issue – Beli Karton (White Card) According to Article 111 of the Law on Foreigners of the Republic of Serbia, the host is obliged to register foreign guests within 24 hours of arrival. The owner took photos of our passports and then completely ignored the matter. When we politely reminded her in the chat, she became openly...

"The unit itself is great, location is awesome, comfortable beds and linen etc. It is spacious for 2 people, but once you pull out the sofa in the living room, there is no space for luggage. Not convenient if you have heavy luggage as you have to carry it to 2/3 floor to get on the elevator. Also, it is in the pedestrian area, so there is a bit of walking since the car can’t pull to the building."

"Marko, the host, is excellent to communicate with, and quite helpful. The apartment is in a great location. You are on the 4th floor and it is stairs so prepare for that. It is clean but does have some age. I didn't mind as I was only there to sleep! I recommend as a great place for 1 or 2 people to stay while in Belgrade."

"Did not seem safe. We did not stay. That bad! Filthy hallways and stairs. Elevator broken and taped shut. 8 flights of stairs. No fire escape. Graffiti and possible gang symbols in stairways. Debris and furniture piled up in walkways. Spider webs, filth and crumbling plaster along the stairways. Back entry of property door is crumbled and rotted away and cannot be secured. "Our stay was okay. The apartment is clean but there are some areas in need of a good scrub. It is in a great location. Very practical. However, when we booked this listing we booked the apartment and paid full price for it 1 month before our trip. Then 3 days before we contacted the host to confirm our arrival and they informed us that the apartment we booked was not available.
