This ”little detour” was half an hour on serpentine roads through a mostly uninhabited Italian landscape, and the inhabitated parts looking a little like the rural parts of Alabama. "The suite was beautiful, newly renovated, spacious, clean and had a stunning lake view with two balconies. The breakfast included a selection of coffees, brioche, ham and cheese, fresh fruit, yogurt and freshly squeezed orange juice. We would highly recommend this suite and hope to return."

"Absolutely wonderful staff. Very small team but they run it like there are 20 of them. 30 seconds from the bus stop, greeted cheerfully when we arrived, filled out some forms and were shown to our room. It was nice and cozy, great view of the surrounding mountains. Breakfast was good, nothing crazy but enough to start the day. Dinner in their restaurant was also great. The spa was fantastic. Easy as asking for the robes and slippers and you ca use it as much as you’d like. Only thing, I wish...
