Also used to train our young Labrador Retriever (the reason we were in the area). Turns out within a half hour drive there are several national caliber training grounds for the various retriever hunt disciplines. John our host couldn't have been more accommodating. "Desolate area. Cabin was perfect size and cozy. Everything we needed was there. Cabin owners responded to questions and concern’s in a timely fashion. Had our two nine year old boys that couldn’t play on their tablets or video game consoles. I’ll just say if you have young kids with you “bring board games, bikes, scooters etc”.Overall we had a great time!"

"We loved our stay at the cabin. The owner was super helpful and promptly responded to any questions or requests. The location is great, a very natural and peaceful setting and as a bonus there is a bar/ restaurant just a short walk away. "

"The apartment was perfect for our needs. Nothing fancy just did the job. It was very clean and the neighborhood was quiet. We really appreciated that the apartment was pet friendly and she enjoyed the walks around the neighborhood."

"We loved the style of the house and really enjoyed how close it was to the lake and that we could drive the golf cart there. The only thing that we didn't love was the smell of the water and that we felt very close to the neighbors. Overall great experience."

"I booked this cabin fri-Sun as a meet up with some friends I don’t get to see much. Unfortunately I had mechanical problems on the way and didn’t arrive until 5am sat morning. The beds are nice and the mini splits kept it comfy inside. Saturday afternoon we walked around the neighborhood and Saturday evening we hiked up to Kane firetower"

"Very affordable, especially for a family. Beds not very comfortable and had to clean up a little ourselves, but didn't mind. (They bought new mattresses but left the plastic on them, very hot for sleeping) "

"We found the quiet and surrounding farm truly relaxing. Even though we drove sixty miles roundtrip each day, the drive was beautiful and relaxing. The only negative was the wifi being intermittent and the listed password was inaccurate. Overall, a good week."

"The property/house is amazing. Great 360-degree views from the property. Plenty of room for all guests. The owner was very responsive and accommodating. "

"Very nice place, very clean and very well stocked. When I say very well stocked, I mean Brad and family have thought of everything to make your stay enjoyable. The views are incredible, and fishing on the in the ponds on the property was amazing. We stayed during our son’s Cooperstown tournament and the drive in to Cooperstown every day amazingly beautiful. We will certainly return to this place if our younger sons play in Cooperstown. One of the best VRBO experiences I have ever had. "

"My mother-in-law has a bucket list of staying insome unique places so we booked this for her birthday. The caboose is very cool! The caboose is very clean. The kitchen had plenty of cooking supplies if needed and a nice size refrigerator. The bathroom was clean and had plenty of towels. We would highly recommend staying here, especially if you know someone that loves trains or likes staying in one of a kind places."
