"It was handy to everywhere in Bennington (which, admittedly is a small town)and was a fine place to stay. Parking was a bit dicey, being on a steep side hill, and the main walkway out front ( a first floor balcony) was tilted a bit away from the building- a drink and I might have been over into the driveway. I would stay there again."

"Nice quite place to stay the night. No second floor, so there was no chance of being disturbed by people walking above you. Clean room, including the bathroom.
I liked that it had a mini fridge so we could put food in it that we brought with us. There was also a separate freezer where I refroze my ice packs over night. Very handy.
I didn't have any food to reheat, but if I had, the microwave would have come in handy.
I did use the coffee pot for coffee in the morning.

"We loved the property and was very convenient to the Clarke Museum and the other events we went to.
Our biggest suggestion is that the property owner put grab bars in the shower/bath. It was slippery and would help prevent a fall"

"The place seemed a little shabbier than last year. Eg. Walkway lights in front not functioning. The room lacking in electrical outlets for a modern traveler. ( They claim remodeling is scheduled)
Breakfast buffet nothing special, could use some nicer baked goods. Bathroom soaps tiny, toilet paper flimsy.
Maybe since place hoping to sell soon, Owners reluctant to put much in right now."
