"Lovely hotel with a great vibe and the access to Roger’s Centre is unbeatable. We did see some pretty sketchy characters around the hotel, which scared my daughter, but I know that’s a hard thing for the hotel to address. Just maybe something to be aware of when you’re booking. "

"The staff was very welcoming, friendly, full of smiles and polite. In my experience that preceds everything in the hospitality industry, it's not just the rooms or amenities that make a stay enjoyable. Don't get me wrong Matrix hotel has it all. The room was clean and very comfortable, with elegant decor. They went over and beyond to make my stay enjoyable. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the downtown area. "

"Clean and renovated hotel. We were in the river view room and it was one of the most spacious hotel rooms I have been to. The view was breathtaking even in third floor room that we were in. Definitely will come back and strongly recommended. Two small downsides to be fair, the indoor parking was height limited and the entrance was VERY small, we opted to park outside even though the price was the same. Also the buffet breakfast was good, but could really be better and have more variety...

"The lobby atmosphere was nice, i didnt like that its located on a one way street and durring rush hour it was hard to get into parking if coming from the opposite direction. Go further down and then turn onto the one way so you have more time to move over instead of where maps tells you where to turn "

"The hotel was very clean and presented well. The pool was nice and had a slide. There was also a nice outdoor patio area attached to the pool area. Rooms were very nice."
