Just discovered Dobbs Weir near Hoddesdon in Essex, a great place to visit for a walk, a bite to eat and to just generally chill.

Spital Brook on Ermine Street Spital Brook flows east to the River Lea and on its way crosses the Roman Road Ermine Street. It flows from the bottom right of the picture across to the trees between these two horses. Today the brook is 9-12" deep but can be up to 2 foot deep when in flood.
