"I’m a former Lonely Planet author (books and their editions include Panama 1, Las Vegas 1, Dominican & Haiti 1, Yucatán 1, and one-third of Mexico 5). I’ve stayed at several thousand hotels. "Elegant hotel with caring, professional staff. Clean rooms, electric blankets, classy lines and decor. Yeti Mountain Home is THE standard for the region. Be mindful of Yeti Mountain Home LUKLA, on my recent stay, the manager was thugish and deceptive...the lady assistant did her best to mitigate the damage that this brutish trickster is doing to the face of this classy hotel line.
