"Had a wonderful time staying at the cozy shoehouse as we took a couple days to reunite with family after moving out of state. Spent 23 years in York visiting the shoe from time to time. It was very nostalgic inside and outside of the shoe. Unlike practically all shoes, this one did not stink."

"We were impressed with all aspects of the house and pool. Very well stocked with kitchen, bath and pool essentials. The house is so close to downtown Hershey, the park, chocolate factory and other outdoor activities. I would highly recommend this house to anyone looking to explore all that Hersey has to offer. "

"We stayed three nights in order to enjoy Hershey Park. The location to the park is outstanding. We like to bring our own breakfast foods and dinner to save some money and the kitchen worked well. My only complaint is there were no potholders and only 1 dishwasher tablet. I am sure if we had called, they would have helped,..but I didn't. It was very comfortable for a family with a range of ages from 3 to 18 years old. It was nothing fancy, but when there are kids involved, we don't want...

"We arrived to find no area to park. Area was terrible ! Every other home had surveillance cameras and beware of dogs signs. Neighborhood had litter strewn all about. I live and work in Detroit michigan so I know what a dangerous neighborhood looks like and this was extremely unsafe. I accept that I have to pay because I cancelled but I feel that I should not have to pay the cleaning fee because there was nothing to clean. "Very clean apartment, easy communication with owner, just a little confusing on how to enter the VRBO but with the help of a very friendly waitress from Fenicci's we figured it out quickly. Parking at the fire house was easy to get to and parking was free. We did have dinner at the restaurant and the service and food was very good."

"There were seven of us staying at this property. Duane and Paula were great hosts. The accommodated a early arrival by one sibling and checked to see if we needed anything several times. The house is just as pictured in the listing. It was perfectly located for day trips to Hershey, Gettysburg, and the Flight 93 memorial. We highly recommend this location. "

"We were in the area for the Chrysler Nationals held in Carlisle. The drive to & from the event were pleasant. The cabin was very clean & comfortable. It was quiet, peaceful. Beds were good with soft sheets. Highly recommend"
