"Our stay in this delightful Shoehouse 14-!6 July 2025 was certainly a memorable relaxing treat. You have certainly thought of and met our every need. Beds comfortable, ac adjustable, linens plentiful---even make-up removable cloths. "Overall, excellent rental. The location is wonderful (walking distance to hershey museum and several restaurants and shops). While walking times are listed for hershey world and hershey park, you can't actually walk to them. The drive is about 10 minutes. You could walk to zoo America. Check in was easy and the host accommodated our earlier than expected arrival. Only improvement I can recommend would be a new mattress or add a supportive mattress topper in the adult bedroom. "We stayed here for a 30th birthday celebration. Everything was great. The pool was perfect and you can’t beat the location. Heather was very welcoming and dealt with a minor issue immediately. I highly recommend."

"The host was a fabulous communicator, and obviously wanted our stay to be everything we were hoping it to be. It was! The accommodations were perfect for our 9 family members 2 dogs. Kitchen items that were thoughtfully provided included coffee pods, coffee mate, spices, in addition to the plentiful dishes and flatware. "

"We’re a family of 6 and had an amazing weekend stay here while visiting Hershey Park! The penthouse apartment was very clean and accommodated us perfectly, with two bunk beds for our four kids 10 and under, and the queen bed for my husband and I, a full kitchen with cooking supplies, smart TV, and full bathroom. "Our stay was short but had everything we needed. The inside of the home was precious. Owners have thought through all you would need. Stairs are very steep making luggage hard to get up there but we knew that going in and it did not hinder our stay. Would definitely stay there again."

"I’ve been to Gettysburg a few times but only for a day trip. I booked this cabin and I couldn’t be happier! Charming cabin with all of the essentials. The property was beautiful and very close to all of the military parks. The owners were beyond helpful the entire process. I loved the fire pit out front and with the late summer nights starting to cool off some now the fire pit was a must! "We were staying near Hershey to visit the zoo and some breweries in the area. This house has plenty of rooms for all the guests and plenty of space for lounging and hanging out. When we first pulled up, I thought it was not the right house because it looked so grand with the porch lights blazing. It seemed like a mini-mansion with a large driveway and fancy garden. Inside it was even more charming with "secret passages" and some antique accents and fixtures. A few of the rooms are a bit short on...

"I was unable to stay at this home because it did not have the beds advertised. It also smelled of smoke, had ashtrays and broken smoke alarms. It was advertised as a non-smoking home. The walls were yellowed from smoke. 1 stayed less than 1 hour, just long enough to find another place to stay."

"The house was beautiful. Very clean and well appointed with all the amenities we needed for a family of five (one of them a dog). Perfect location with easy access to Hershey Park and restaurants, but restaurants are not necessary because the kitchen is fully stocked with everything needed to cook. We had a great stay and will be back! "
