Beautiful lodge, 4 king bedrooms, all with private baths! 5 decks to enjoy.

This 4 bedroom, 4.5 bath, 3 story North Georgia home is over 3,000 square feet and is located approximately halfway between Dillard, Georgia and Highlands, NC. It has a wood burning fireplace and a fireplace with gas logs on the second floor living/dining area with a beautiful fully equipped kitchen, The 3,900 feet elevation provides wonderful summer temperatures, Bring your whole family to enjoy the serenity of the North Georgia Mountains. It is a great location for a reunion with family or friends.

On the first level of our home is a large stone floored great room with a stone fireplace, equipped with gas logs, and a king bedroom with a full bath. The bedroom has double french doors opening out to a private covered patio. The great room contains a couch for extra sleeping space.

The second floor which is very open and spacious contains the living area, dining area and kitchen. Both the living area has and dining area contain stone wood burning fireplaces the dining area fireplace is equipped with gas logs.i. They contain 3 sets of double french doors opening to covered porches, heart pine floors and 9-foot ceilings. The living area has 2 full size couches and a chaise lounge.

The dining room seats 8 with additional seating at the island in the kitchen or outside on the 2 covered porches where you can enjoy the scenic Blue Valley Mountain view. The kitchen is spacious and well equipped. This floor also contains a half bath.

The top level of our lodge opens up into a bright and cheerful sunroom which contains a day bed with a pullout trundle which pops up and makes an additional king bed if needed. Opening off of the sunroom are 3 king bedrooms which all have private baths. The master and the sunroom open up to a covered porch where you may want to sit and read a book or just enjoy the mountain views.

As on the second floor you have the heart pine floors & 9' ceilings. Lots of windows and French doors allow you to enjoy the scenic mountains whether inside or out.

My guests have access to the pool, indoor and outdoor hot tubs, sauna, tennis courts, and work out facilities at Sky Valley Resort which is approximately 2 miles from the cabin.


Take advantage of the shopping and wonderful restaurants in the quaint towns of Highlands and Dillard. Visit nearby waterfalls and hiking trails. Rabun County is home to Lake Rabun and Lake Burton which have boat rentals or feel free to bring your own. There is also summer rafting and tubing nearby. In the winter, Scaly Mountain, NC provides snow tubing which is only 3 miles from our home.

Sapphire Valley Ski Resort in NC features great snow skiing, snowboarding and is located less than an hour away. Enjoy the solitude of this lodge yet you are just off the state road with a paved driveway. Only 2 hours from Atlanta.

Very clean and spacious. The four bedrooms, all with on suite bathrooms, was perfect for our family getaway. The house had the most well equipped kitchen of anywhere we have ever stayed.

This was our 16th year escaping to the mountains with our extended family (6 adults, 5 kids). The house was perfect for our group - nice that each bedroom had its own bathroom and the younger girls enjoyed the daybed on the landing upstairs. The owners were very responsive and friendly. We would definitely stay there again.

I can’t say enough good things about this place! The kitchen is well stocked; the decks are amazing; and having a king sized bed and bathroom for each of us was so nice. The house is conveniently located between Dillard and Highlands. We had a great time and will definitely stay again if we take another trip to this area.

We had a wonderful time at this property! It was very clean and it was a great space for our family gathering. The views from the balconies are wonderful. It has a nice big kitchen and a great dining table. The host was very easy to get in touch with.

We rented this gorgeous property to celebrate Thanksgiving with our adult children and grandchildren. This was our first family gathering since our oldest graduated High School, so it was a very special occasion. We could not have been blessed with a better location, nor a better hostess. The experience was an easy process from the beginning up until the very end. The hostess communicated everything from directions, entertainment options, check in/out process and everything else imaginable. As an added bonus, the house was immaculately decorated for Christmas…..which delighted our grandchildren beyond measure. We simply cannot express our gratitude and satisfaction with this property and owner. The pictures of the location are accurate, and the home has everything needed for a family gathering.

This was a last minute getaway for 3 couples. The lodge was perfect. It has 4 very comfortable king suites all with bathrooms! The kitchen was fully stocked. We enjoyed mimosas and brunch at the large dining room table. The views were amazing. We were a little late in the leaf season but still had wonderful fall views. The lodge has great WiFi service. It is located halfway between Dillard, Highlands and Franklin. Within 20 minutes you can be shopping, hiking, fishing or sharing a delicious meal with friends. We hope to return for a repeat getaway!

Fall colors surrounded us in this comfortable home nestled in the mountains! The home is well stocked, nicely decorated and accommodated six adults and four children nicely. Communication was outstanding and we had a great stay.

Our weekend stay here was quiet, lovely and fun, despite a strong electrical storm on the last night. The house is nicely decorated, well designed and comfortable, with plenty of seating for large family groups and a well appointed kitchen. Mountaintop views! Very enjoyable!

It was everything we were expecting and more. The pictures in the ad are accurate but can’t convey the welcoming, homey feel of this property. Instructions and details of entry and leaving were clear and helpful. All of us really enjoyed our visit in this beautiful home.

The property was lovely and well maintained. I spoke or texted with the owner several times because we had a slight mix-up on the access code, but once it was resolved, all was smooth sailing. She was kind and understanding and concerned that we should enjoy ourselves to the fullest. We made a few picky, incidental suggestions and she said that she thought they were good ones and would follow through with them for the improvement of the property, but we found nothing major to complain about. The stairs might be a bit hazardous, but they are well lit and the light switches are all clearly marked, so I don't think one should have too much trouble with them -- just be alert. It's not easy to find a place with en-suite baths for each bedroom and that is the plus that we were looking for. The bathrooms are not huge, but they are adequate and each of the bedrooms are very nice. It was hard to choose which one to take -- I was the first to arrive, so I got first choice and it wasn't an easy one to make! The kitchen was obviously first rate and we were very pleased with all the meals we were able to prepare and enjoy in the lovely dinning room.
