"We celebrated our anniversary in Cape Charles for a week and stayed in the “Fisherman” unit. The property and home itself were well maintained and cared for. We enjoyed tiny livin for the week and would definitely do it again and recommend it to anyone marking a trip to the eastern shore. It may not be directly in the heart of Cape Charles like other properties but that is completely fine, the “community” feel definitely makes up for it. Eric & Sylvia we’re excellent people as well. "This is the best vacation rental I have ever stayed in. Beautiful, clean, well-appointed, and historic. Mr. Hawkins has taken this historic slice of old Americana and turned it into the most charming little vacation rental property. "This cottage is very cute and extremely well stocked. we have stayed at a number of homes from this and similar sites - I have never seen many of the things that are stocked here. The town and its residents are all so friendly. we definitely want to come back to Cape Charles and the flip flop/."

"Well loved, maintained & stocked home on the bay. Everything was thought of by the owners. Large living space for all to congregate & each have his/her own seat. Well stocked kitchen included all the necessary cooking/baking/serving supplies + several pantry staples. All appliances in working order. "My family and I just returned from cape Charles and strawberry street! The house has everything we needed for a perfect stay! A little hiccup with a lock to the shed was immediately responded to and resolved! The kitchen is well stocked, plenty of room for my family to spread out and also hang out! The location was perfect and the fenced in yard was well enjoyed by our dog! "

"Checking in was a breeze. No long list to go by. We loved the cottage as soon as we walked in. All of the updates are simply amazing! Contact with the rental. Company was really really great! We travel a lot actually 6months out of the year sometimes more. So believe me when I say how sparkly clean everything was! What a treat! We will definitely be back. "
