"It was a Comfortable and quiet rest before a long flight home the next morning. The restaurant was good too. The only strange thing is they charge €8.50 per person to take the shuttle back to the airport. I didn’t know this until after booking. A taxi was half the cost."

"Revolving entrance door is too small and not convenient for senior/ disabled travelers with luggages. Breakfast area is quite simple and Breakfast is simple as well. Not much choice. Room's furniture is not enough and need to request table and chair. Room tidy up was told that they will do it only every 3 days. Towels will be replaced every 3 nights. "Bastion Hotels provide a strong standard of service for value focussed travellers. The staff has been professional for many of my visits and the property standards are high. Love the breakfast, as well as restaurant menu. Appreciate the airport shuttle very much too."

"The access to the property was impeded by the demolition of the adjacent hotels. this made it extremely difficult to off load luggage. AND with NO help from the staff it was even more stressful. I was very dismayed by this and was expecting a more inviting experience. This hotel did not act in what I was counting on. They did not put "BEST" in the Best Western motto."

"Airport shuttle fantastic. Service phenomenal. Requests were fulfilled immediately. Breakfast buffet is a must. Excellent quality, quantity and variety. And the room, incredibly spacious, with lovely amenities, including an air jetted tub, separate shower and poo room. Then, the hotel has wonderful amenities including: large pool, steam room, sauna and tanning bed. I would definitely stay again at Van Der Valk in the future."
