"We were looking for a place to stay for one night, and this worked out fine. The location was great for getting to IUP. Definitely a bare bones kind of place, no napkins or even paper towels. No shampoos or soaps, and half of the light bulbs did not work. The traffic noise was very loud with the air conditioning units still in the windows. But it was pretty clean and we only needed a place to sleep."

"Loved the place! Great location & host!The place is super cute and the bed is so comfortable! The two chairs with ottomans in the dinning room were perfect to relax with a hot cup of tea and the word search book left by the host.Perfect weekend with my family to visit IUP's open house for our daughter.Also, you have try Josephine's for the delicious brick oven pizza & Naps for some delicious homemade pasta! Oh and let's not forget Cannella Cafe for breakfast! We will definitely be staying here...

"Host is very welcoming, very responsive to all questions. This place is very clean and accommodating. So comfy and cozy. If you forgot anything they thought of it and had it ready for you. The neighborhood is very safe and comfortable. Everything is in walking distance. Highly recommend this place. "

"What a lovely house! The 3 of us came in just to visit Punxsutawney and fell in love with Smicksburg! We enjoyed our stay here so much and would definitely return. The check in was simple and parking in the back worked out great. The kitchen is enormous, stocked with plenty of utensils/dishes, soap, plastic wrap, salt/pepper shakers. There aren't many restaurants in the area, so making full use out of the kitchen was very helpful. In addition, there was a cute little coffee/tea setup, full water...

"House is newly remodeled, sits on the main road and is surprisingly quiet for that being the case. We used little but the bedroom and showers after our days visiting family. I missed having access to a washer/dryer through the week but we made do.The owner is VERY responsive and while we didn't need much, the one thing we asked about was remedied quickly.Overall our stay here met our needs and gave us room to spread out after long days of family togetherness;)"
