"We have stayed in this area for many years. It's a good choice. Only suggestion...The owner should consider a conventional grill. The Blackstone is hard to clean and more difficult to use versus a "Weber"."

"The house was super cute and you have everything that you need under the roof and then some. The yard is spacious and private. The morning sunrises and evening sunsets were amazing. Lots of birds in the yard, ducks, and osprey. Brenda was a great host and very responsive. No communication issues whatsoever. We enjoyed our week here and would do so again!"

"We stayed here to be close to the EAA Airventure show and it was great! We had four adults and two children, ages 5 and 9, and had plenty of space. The kitchen is nicely appointed with everything you might need. Ken, the host is very responsive. The best part is the porch and the view of the lake. We spent a lot of time sitting and relaxing, admiring the view and watching the pelicans, eagles, and other birds. Kids had a good time fishing off the pier and caught a few sheepshead. Would...

"Great house with plenty of things to do inside and outside. Host provides all the essentials which helped us since we were coming from out of state. Host was quick to respond and very helpful throughout our stay. "

"Check in was great and a welcome relief (after driving through Chicago traffic) of seeing a wonderful property with a view from the get-go. Having the small sand area was fantastic for the littles to easily step their feet in some sand and water. For being relatively busy lake, it was still peaceful. The patio and yard space were awesome! Great local restaurants and sites within 20 minutes or less. Overall, enjoyed our stay and would recommend for a family looking for a getaway."

"The game room was amazing, and kept everyone entertained! We all raved about how comfortable the beds were, and the neighborhood is beautiful. Lots of extras provided that made our stay a pleasure!"
