"Love this place! Our flight was modified and we arrived much earlier than the usual check in time. They tried to get us a room asap, but had been sold out the night before. So we just had to nap on the lobby sofas until our room was ready. And as soon as it was, they immediately checked us in. Such a fun hotel Art Deco style and the history of the building before is really awesome. This hotel is fun, clean and quiet. To return to Detroit, this will be my top selection."

It was a little loud for my taste, apparently my neighbors had a problem at night and had to change rooms - they were not quiet about it. It was a random weekday so I can't imagine what it's like on a weekend. The staff tried to be really nice but there was a lot of confusion. "We had an early morning flight, so we opted to stay in Detroit and dine at the hotel. The hotel’s a cool remodeled fire house and bank , the location was conveniently situated just off the highway. The staff was exceptional, and the food was really good. What more could I possibly want?! Additionally, as a platinum member at Expedia , I was pleasantly surprised to receive a room upgrade, which was greatly appreciated."

"The Inn on Ferry is a quaint place located midtown Detroit. Excellent welcoming and service while we stayed. The building we stayed in (grey stone) is beginning to show some wear on the inside. Carpets would be a good thing to replace and fixtures (e.g reading light shades) need a little more modernizing. We would stay again without hesitation as it was quiet and still very clean."

The bedding and pillows were damp from how much had been sprayed, it was obvious the excessive Febreze was being used to mask a strong odor.
