"I had a wonderful stay at The Traveler. The studio had everything I needed for my overnight work trip, and the location was perfect. It is close to convenient amenities and right in the heart of downtown. I will definitely be back."

"If I could do do three and half stars, I would. We stayed a week and the things we found were lacking were things like no linens in the kitchen (dish towels, pot holders,...), only a partial roll of paper towels and TP in the place when we arrived, no extra trash bags,... Had we been staying for a night or two, we wouldn't have noticed some of things but we were there a week so we noticed all of them. The host was quick to deliver more paper products but still not enough for a week. The kitchen...

"We stayed here over the weekend and had a great time. The Back of the Dragon and area are beautiful. Tazwell is a small town but has a couple of good restaurants within walking distance which was great. The room was very clean and well appointent amenities. Couple of issues, you can hear everything your neighbors are doing. The spaces are not sound isolated."

"Great place to stay. Very comfortable and close to food and our grandson’s wedding location. We didn’t use any a/c and forgot to turn it back on.It would be nice to have checking out instructions in the unit to remind people what they need to do, but otherwise it was an enjoyable stay. "Man, what can I say? This place was so great. The river that runs behind it is such a great sound to fall asleep to. The apt was immaculately clean. Comfortable beds, the towels were big and lush. Nice hot water. Everything you could need was there. Walking distance to several cool places and food. You have to try the pizza at The Back of the Dragon Brewery. Beth is nothing short of amazing. I will definitely say here again. It was just a great experience all the way around."
