"White Sands Hotel is a fairly large and truly beautiful resort. Not for a single second did I regret choosing this property for my stay in Dar es Salaam. "The hotel and bathroom were both of a good size. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well (hot water for a change!). The pool and pool area area were both quite small with only about 10-12 loungers available. The "private" beach across the road didn't seem private at all to me as there were many local people around. The food was average at best and the service was slow. It took almost 25 minutes to get a Greek salad and there samosas. We were there on a Saturday night and the music...

"No the pool had one lounge chair no towels, the room was old and tired rhe electrical switches could not support our convertors the breakfast was the least appetizing meal we had on our whole trip some staff were friendly but not all the manager heard our concerns but who knows!"
