"Good (enough) stay at central, but slightly dated hotel. Bathroom pipes/ plumbing smelt horrendous which made it hard to appreciate cleanliness. Great spa facilities. Polite staff. Good food, though it takes close to 45min to be served and I got incessant calls at close to midnight from the restaurant to shout at me that they couldn't read the writing on my bill. Stay for the the Friday night live music by the pool."

"White Sands Hotel is a fairly large and truly beautiful resort. Not for a single second did I regret choosing this property for my stay in Dar es Salaam. The entire complex is very clean and regularly well maintained, and the same can be said about the room. "Was nice affordable stay "

"The hotel and bathroom were both of a good size. The bed was comfortable and the shower worked well (hot water for a change!). The pool and pool area area were both quite small with only about 10-12 loungers available. The "private" beach across the road didn't seem private at all to me as there were many local people around. The food was average at best and the service was slow. It took almost 25 minutes to get a Greek salad and there samosas. We were there on a Saturday night and the music...
