"Lovely quiet setting, a cluster of very stylish bungalows set amongst palm trees a couple of minutes walk from the beach. Each bungalow had an outside seating area with built-in benches with foam cushions for relaxation/reading etc. Planting around this space added to the overall look. There was a large open air restaurant: tables and chairs under a traditional-style roof. Staff were attentive, the food was really good - big portions and the Sri Lankan breakfast was fabulous. "Ok - where do I start! The “rooms” where not ready when we arrived- no one was expecting us in fact, I spoke to the lovely lady who owned the place and she explained that her rooms where usually pay by the hour (ugh). We had no choice but to stay here - one of the rooms had no lock and another had no bed! This was soon rectified but not to a satisfaction we would expect. There where no televisions in the rooms, no fridges (not even a plug socket!) one room didn’t even have bedding!...
