"Had a great stay... only down side being we were only there for 2 nights Lovely hotel, with very friendly staff. Rooms great and well appointed.Great setting and relaxing after or before safari. Only bit of advice is dont go too late for breakfast or buffet evening meal, as its all been hoovered up. Would recommend and if we find ourself in same area again, will re book. "

"It is unique and super in every way. The staff are fantastic. Big thank you to Dominda who went out of his way to help. The trip to the waterfall and swim is a must do. Domindas English is great and as a local explains everything which provides an insight to this incredible place. We will come back and stay longer next time! 🙏"

"We spoilt ourselves with 2 nights in Ahas Pokuna. This is a truly special place. Greeted at the road side by Arun our naturalist guide we were immediately enveloped in the forest following a footpath (truly the only access) leading us up the the very exclusive camp. We were the only guest and had the middle of three tent suites/tree houses. The beautifully maintained grounds of the camp are full of birds and the staff are always attentive. The food is excellent and plentiful. Arun was delightful...

"A beautiful property nestled in the jungle. The views were amazing and the sounds of the rushing river were super relaxing. The rooms were big and airy. There is no air conditioning but some ceiling fans that do the job perfectly (we were never too hot at night) - the pool with the river view in room 10 was spectacular. We enjoyed the food and the service was really nice and kind. Ashley is a character and brings some personality to the table. It’s very isolated but it’s possible to get a Tuktuk...

"We stayed for one night for the Safari. The property is well maintained, clean and it is as described. The owner is very responsive, offer good service. We enjoyed the breakfast included in the reservation after the Safari. I would definitely recommend this place. "

"The property is ideal for the Udawalawe park safari. The host and the staff are really friendly are really friendly and polite. The food is amazing,fresh made every day. It can be done without having much spices,if you are not a fan of spices. You are in a corner of paradise with a lot of fauna. We have absolute loved it. The only small downside was the shower that didn't have hot water and water pressure was weak."

"Agthira river camp was excellent. The staff were all friendly and the room was so nice. Looking onto the river was very relaxing and hours were spent watching the monkeys. The buffet in the morning and evening was great. The safari was booked via the hotel and was a great experience."

"Backyard Balangoda provides a great Sri Lankan experience, complete with a very friendly dog named Bruno! The incredibly kind owner made sure we had a wonderful stay, sharing interesting information about local life and tasty food. Breakfast, made with local ingredients, was wonderful, especially the tea from his garden and his own roasted coffee. "I booked Kurunduketiya as a birthday present for my partners 30th and some nice accommodation to finish our holiday at. However due to poor administrational errors, the resort didn’t have the correct details of our booking which we had paid for in full. It wasn’t until I reached out with questions about the booking 5 days prior that they contacted me to tell me that they had double booked and that we had to cut our stay short one night. "In 2006 eveneens dit hotel bezocht. Het is geen haar beter geworden. De staat van het hotel is nog voor géén "meter" verbeterd. Het personeel is brutaal en arrogant, waarvoor overigens gezien de prijs/kwaliteit verhouding geen enkele reden is. Het bedienend personeel beloofd en zegt dingen toe, die ze absoluut niet nakomen. Vertellen onwaarheden. DE kamers zijn vies. Gordijnen zog net zo vies als in 2006. Sluiten slecht. Airco maakt ontzettend veel lawaai. Douche heeft een vies ligbad met...
