"Nice, large, well equipped hotel room. Room had a kitchen and was more spacious than other hotels I have stayed at in Japan. Location was well located in the Gion area in a quiet location but steps away from shops and restaurants, away from the very busy areas which I appreciated. Check in was fully virtual. "

"We really enjoy our stay. It was in a good location, the beds were comfortable. I really appreciate that there was a vacuum in the room as I felt I needed to get into the corners some and vacuum the blinds in the room as those were really dusty. Everything else was pretty clean though and I really appreciate having dishes and other amenities they had. I really loved that they had a washer/dryer unit in the room also. Thank you. "

"I was in Japan for 2 weeks, stayed in 5 locations. This was my absolute favorite hotel and location. Walkable to and from train and bus locations, shopping and fabulous restaurants all super close. Beautiful property! Very comfortable room. Soaking tub was perfect (on average we walked 20k steps a day) absolutely recommend this hotel. "

"The best hotel we stayed at during our Japan trip! There was no breakfast option, but the room made up for it. A spacious room with incredible amenities. Getting to the hotel at the end of the day felt like getting home!"

"Stay here if you are in Kyoto! Very friendly staff, that seemed available to help if you needed their assistance outside opening hours of the reception too. I wondered how the living arrangement was before coming, but we came as recommended before 19:30 for check-in, so there were no problems with that. It is indeed a hotel, but they offer apartment size rooms with amenities. The room we booked had everything we needed for a comfortable stay in Kyoto. It was very nice to take a Japanese bath and...

"It was raining heavily the day that we arrived at Kyoto and our original room had a bit of a musty smell to it. Once we brought it up to the front desk, the manager was so helpful and accommodating and was able to move us to a different room. They even bought us a cake to apologize for the inconvenience which is service we are not typically used to in the US.
