"Amazingly cute little cabin with a stone fireplace. So cozy and welcoming. Small but well defined areas made it very comfortable. Loved personal little touches like handwritten notes on how to work the TV, cleanup and welcome. Amazingly sweet porch with a “Welcome Gnome”, lights and chairs to enjoy the beautiful outdoor area. We were there in the rain which added its own charm but in the summer I bet the fire pits are magical. Would definitely love to stay here again and for longer!!!!"

5. Charming apartment on Main Street

Lake Placid

"The back storage room was very moldy and gave my daughter horrible allergies. We were there for a soccer tournament. The directions to find the apartment were not accurate they gave me the wrong store fronts to look for. Also when I messaged questions it was over 12 hours before someone got back to me and it seemed like an agency that did not know the answers. It was a very convenient location and that part was wonderful."

"Fan was very loud in the bathroom! We had window and door issues in other rooms. Our 4th stay. It appears all rooms have some kind of issues. No heat at night. Very cold. Better during the day. Neighbor parked over two spaces including ours and the a huge 4x4. No management to check and tell them to park correctly… clean overall. Ok for one night but keep low expectations in light with low prices."

Saranac Lake

"The house is a good place to stay if you need ample room and want a quiet retreat in Saranac Lake. Its not on the water but within a short drive of downtown and the lakes. If you have mobility issues this isn’t the place for you as the stairs to the second floor are very steep and there are floor level changes. The house manager should, I think, mark the floor level changes with bright tape because it takes a while to remember where they are. The house is pleasant and cosy and we enjoyed staying...
