"Came here to celebrate a milestone birthday. The grounds are absolutely beautiful. Be advised the main beach is quite small and very rocky, however you can take a kayak over to a much longer expanse of beach if long walks on the beach are your things. Also, they do provide watershoes -facilitating the process of walking over the rocks. "Pictures very misleading, the lake was too abandoned to go near, there is no water park, the restaurant only served breakfast (not lunch and dinner like advertised), no hot springs. I ended up staying in my room all three days. The staff were really nice but I can tell they knew I felt scammed. I’ve contacted Expedia for some type of compensation twice and they said they’d reach back but no answer. Very disappointed. A waste of alot of money."

"Absolute stunning view and friendly staff. Rooms and property were clean and adequate - bonus having a fridge and water kettle in the room. So nice having the restaurant on site. Building certainly not high end and is old in need up updates - but it is clean and functional (as is the state of most properly on the island). Would go again :)"

"I totally enjoyed my stay at Mangoes. The owner was very accommodating, pleasant and very customer oriented. My trip was a business trip, it is 25mins to Roseau but after a hectic day at the office Mangoes was ideal for relaxing. There are lots of mosquitoes but that is expected with the location but a huge net covers the bed and I had lots of bug spray. There is not much to do in St Joseph so having a vehicle is recommended unless you are happy remaining on the compound. If I ever return, this...

"24 hrs before checking in we were informed that the house we had booked wrrks in advance would not be available anymore..We had to accept a different house which was smaller than we had booked and the host made no effort to compensate us for this change..It was the worse experience I have ever received while using expedia.. None of the appliances were working..The neighborhood was not safe.. Truely ruined our vacation"
