"A very nice stay in Silkeborg. Lovely helpful staff at check-in. Nice and spacious suite 9 in the old building. I wouldn’t choose a room in the main building which has the feeling still of an old hospital in the corridors. The hotel has a very nice garden setting and peaceful location just outside the city centre and close to a beautiful lakeside swimming area. Easy parking onsite. "The room is inside an old cottage. The bathroom downstairs has no cover on its small window - which could have been replaced with stained glass or even stickers easily for more privacy. Lots of crackling sound when walking on upper floor, which is normal for this type of property. Bright sides: Clean room. Excellent breakfast and super friendly staff. Free parking. Nice nature around the area."

"The house in dire need a deep cleaning both inside and outside - lots of cobwebs everywhere, dirty bathroom rugs and cleaning in general was of very low standard. Heat pump drain did not work, and water was dripping down into TV secured to same wall. Pictures of house showed a dryer - there was none. Furniture in living room were of a low standard - i. e. no real sofa. Beds were comfortable and good. Communication with Dancenter was nearly impossible over the weekend."
