"If, like us, you are taking your first trip to Chile to ski the Tres Valles, Casa Farellones is an excellent choice for a home base. It is a 10-minute or less drive to each of La Parva and El Colorado, and a 25-minute drive to Valle Nevado (note these times without ski traffic; expect longer if you are headed to the resorts for first lift). "William was extremely responsive and helpful. The property was in a gorgeous location and very peaceful. The skiing in Farellones was not ideal and we travelled up the mountain to Valle Nevaro most days but this was an easy drive and staying in Farellones was preferable because of the warmer weather and gorgeous sunsets. The middle apartment was better suited to us and the hot tub was more accessible and private and the fireplace was by the living room but I’m sure the lower apartment would have...

"The town of La Parva is cute but not much to do. There’s 2 restaurants. An amazing small quaint Fondue spot where you can get to know the owner and staff, which I did! There is no washer n dryer in the unit and the staff at La Marmita let me use the resturants washer/dryer!!! The other restaurant was bigger with a more traditional menu and outdoor seating. If you go, you must bring food from the grocery store to cook from Santiago. The road up/down from Santiago is about 100 switchbacks. Very...
