"The owners (different than the host) are the best! They made sure that we have everything we need to make our stay comfortable and stress-free as our house in Ka’u was damaged by Hurricane Lala. The Nene Room was beautiful, clean and peaceful with its large picture window overlooking the serene forest. We also stayed in Gecko room that has one bedroom, living room, and kitchen. "The house was very nice! Very peaceful place. The host was so helpful and accommodating. We ended up staying there during a hurricane. There was a back up power system so we never went without power. We had everything we needed. The property caretaker called to check on us and offered help if needed. Very nice people. I would definitely stay here again and would definitely recommend it."

"We absolutely loved our stay here. The location was perfect for visiting the Volcano National Park. It literally was just a 5 minute drive to the park entrance so we were able to drive into the park on the night of our stay to see the venting from the volcano. The unit itself was beautifully decorated and stocked with everything we needed. And it was certainly an immersive experience being in the middle of the rainforest. I would 100% recommend a stay here and would love to visit it again...
