"The hotel is in a great quieter area that is very close by to train systems. There are multiple konbini stores within minutes of the hotel which is very convenient. The room that we stayed in was large enough for a small family of 4 with separate areas for adults and kids. The addition of washer and dryer is very helpful."

"The hotel is clean, quite accessible to the train station and safe. The rooms were big for Japanese standards, with excellent amenities. I wish it was a bit closer to Ueno station, but it is certainly not too far. Staff sprak English and were very helpful. "

"This is the 2nd stay here. 15 nights. Each time has been brilliant. Communication is wonderful. The hotel is a 3 minute walk to a train station on the Tozai line. So easy to travel on. All variety of food shops in the block. Supermarket directly across the road. I literally cant fault it"

"The floors are very thin so we could hear children running around late at night in the unit above us. The hotel agreed to keep the room empty after the guests moved out and all was good for the rest of our stay (10 nights). Compared to other apt hotels we stayed in throughout Japan, this property isn't as eco friendly in that Mimaru changes linens everyday. There's a coin operated laundry on the main floor which can get busy in the evening."

"We love the Mimaru Suites! We stayed at this Asakusa location at the end of our trip and the Nihombashi location at the beginning. Staff at both were just great. We had a two bedroom suite at both. I prefer the layout at the Nihombashi location, where the toilets are in with the shower/bathtub. In our Asakusa suite, there was just one toilet, separate from the shower rooms. You can’t beat the Asakusa location, though. We were on the second floor facing the sky tree and noise was not an issue....

"It was a very nice room, loved the bunk beds! I also really enjoyed the shower room, and I definitely recommend this hotel for families on vacation. The only downside was that the toilet room smells terrible- turn on the deodorizer to help! But other than that, I think this is a great hotel and I hope you will enjoy it too! "

"Close to the train station. Staff are friendly & accommodating. Amenities are great including washing/drying in the basement. Rooms have everything albeit small. Rubbish/recycling daily by 10am. Across the road from Aeon minimart and less than 5mins from other conbinis. Close to alot of restaurants including a Maccas. Would stay here again for it's convenience. Hopefully they upgrade the lift by then."

"Excellent location. Literally 10 steps to Asakusa station. Staff was excellent. Spoke English and very down to earth. Great rooftop area for Skytree and Sumida river. Excellent laundry facilities. Family Mart right next door. Located on quiet side of Asakusa but super close to all the attractions. Will definitely stay again for next trip."
