"The property and surrounding areas are perfect for families. There is something to do for everyone. The beds and cottages are nasic but comfortable and totslly worth the value. "

"Wow! This place exceeded our expectations on every level. Nat provided us with excellent communication and made us feel very welcome. The inside of the cabin was something you would expect to see in a movie! It was very warm, peaceful, and all appliances/necessities/utensils were provided.When we couldn’t get the fireplace to work the first evening, Nat has a service person in the very next morning to have it fixed.A great all-around experience."

"The property was as advertised. Great dock and water. Very nice cottage. Great bbq (a bellwether for a good cottage). Owner followed up with me, rather than the other way around. Easy check in and check out. Not a bad thing to say. "

"A memorable and intimate getaway! The location is absolutely perfect – right on the water, yet just a short drive from downtown Huntsville. But honestly, once we settled in, we didn’t feel the need to go out much. The rustic charm of the cottage made it easy to fully relax and focus on, well, each other. "Loved the full kitchen, bbq, outdoor seating and the beach, including kayaks and canoes. The cBin was perfect for our needs. I was surprised about bringing all my own linens , including blankets. I wish that prt had been communicated more than 2 days before the trip- including the blanket piece, as I didn’t think a blanket was considered linens and had a couple cold nights. With more warning, I could have made arrangements ti have everything "

"Our group enjoyed our stay at Cliff Haven! Jeena was a great host, very accommodating and quick to respond to our questions. The place was well stocked and had such a cozy vibe! The only issue we encountered was with one of the bunks being quite shaky and we felt it was unsafe to use.Overall a great experience and we'd definitely book Cliff Haven again!"

"I would definitely book this cottage again. We were at a wedding in the area so the location was perfect. Our family of 4 had lots of room to get ready. Both the living room and the kitchen was perfect for hanging out. If it didn’t rain all weekend we would have made use of the outdoor deck and backyard fire pit. I’m really happy we found this cottage. "

"Very clean and quiet, which is exactly what we were looking for. Had a really great time with our friends. Would definitely recommend for a simple and very quiet getaway! Beautiful deck to sit and eat overlooking the pond. The host was very nice and was prompt with her responses for all of the questions we had. Will definitely return!"

"This is a nice small cottage that is clean and maintained well. The cottage location is also good - there are at least 4 towns and villages within less than 40 mins drive, not counting the Kinmount. The Kinmount itself is a place with a rich history, and there is a location there that you should visit and its just 10 mins walking from the cottage -the Highland Cinemas. This is something very unique and I dont think you will find something like that anywhere else. Despite the size of the village...

"Very relaxing and peaceful stay. We loved the hot tub and large fire pit. Our dog also enjoyed the property and swimming in theeriver"

"Went over a weekend with couple of friends and absolutely enjoyed our stay. All my friends were pleasantly surprised with the location, view and overall arrangements that were made by the Host to accommodate us. The property had everything to offer and we left the property extremely happy, positive experience and looking forward to come back again. "

"we enjoyed our stay BUT the fan didn't work , the frig;was not empty ,the daybeds [futons ] DID NOT open and my daughter slept on one NOT opened , and my son - in law slept on the other one NOT opened . Will not stay again ."

Muy buena alternativa si estás de paso.

"Llegamos antes y nos dejaron entrar a las 12 sin cargo adicional. La habitación muy completa, una cama grande de matrimonio y un sofá cama de dos plazas. Todo muy nuevo. También tenía una pequeña piscina (con exceso de cloro) y un gimnasio con bici, elíptica y mancuernas. El desayuno muy correcto considerando lo que te encuentras en otros hoteles. Aparcamiento gratuito al lado de la habitación. Muy cerca de un centro comercial."
