"Very unclean and unhygienic, outdated, a lick of paint and a hoover around wouldn't go a miss, I found half eaten nuts on the floor beside the bed, there was crumbs everywhere, even inside the bed side table drawers, the bathroom door didn't close properly, the shower and toilet face eachother and when the shower has been used it takes about 20 minutes to drain and the toilet is drenched, not a good set up there, dirt in the bed, stains on the divan, window didnt open or close easy, the blind...

"The room was clean (ish) but I would not recommend staying here. The room had no air con and extremely stuffy so me, my partner and 7 year old daughter all felt ill the next following days. I would avoid staying here."

I stayed again at the end of August & had an evening meal only this time there was a ‘service’ charge of 10% added. I challenged this only to be told “it is on the menu”. It was not ‘on the menu’. "Wonderful hotel just a few minutes walk from the Kelpies. Basic, no nonsense hotel, immaculately clean. Staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough to make you feel at home."

"Front staff was kind of overall rooms are not maintained. The door to the room was falling off and had to be lifted to be able to close it. The TV remote is filthy. Main lobby looks nice. Breakfast was just ok"

"Great location in Falkirk. GPS wasn't accurate so we parked up and went walking to find door. We didn't read whole property description so got caught out with there being no lift. Try to book room on first floor as there are only 24 steps to that one !"
