"Beautiful heritage building with very comfortable beds, bright cozy bedding. The set up is almost Hostel like in that there is a common area with couches, table and chairs and simple kitchen and then each bedroom has its own bathroom. The townsfolk and shop owners were very friendly. We also enjoyed Shirley at the museum who was very helpful and knowledgeable! The stunning location was the icing on the cake!"

"The place is a dump. Maintenance is decades behind, hallway carpet is filthy, bathtub is grubby. When told that the outlet in the bathroom doesn’t work, we were told that we would have to change rooms. When we returned at the end of the day and housekeeping had “forgotten “ our room, the person at the desk said they couldn’t do anything, but did offer us clean towels. Did not see any other guests. "Very nice place to stay. The bed was super comfortable and the pillows were perfect. The hot tub and sauna were not available, I guess that is for winter only. I had a latte from the cafe and it was so good I ordered a second."

"Staff were very helpful and responsive to our requests. The recommended pub next door had great food. We appreciated the Continental breakfast with enough options to get us started. Some points of interest were close by and walkable. This hotel also offered shuttle service to the airport which would have been helpful if we had needed it. Our stay was comfortable and we felt it had good value."
