"Bereits an der Hauptstraße B300 gibt es eine Beschilderung zur Lodge. Die ca. 70 km lange Anfahrt erfolgt über eine Sandpiste, die nur mit einem Allradfahrzeug zu bewältigen ist. Die Begrüßung war sehr persönlich und das Personal sehr freundlich und bemüht. Die angebotenen Aktivitäten wurden sehr individuell durchgeführt. Die Ausstattung des Luxuszeltes war hervorragend. Alles super sauber. Das Frühstück und Abendessen waren sehr gut. Alle Getränke auch tagsüber waren inklusiv."

My major concern was that there were a ton of insects that I had to kill so they didn't bother me while I slept. I left early in the morning to join a safari tour."

"Die Xakanaxa mobil camp hat nichts mit mit Xakanaxa im Moremi Nationalpark zu tun. Es ist eine Irreführung! Wir waren am Khwai River aussrhalb des Parks. Hier wurde für uns alleine (3 Personen) das Camp am Fluss bei den Hippos aufgebaut. Wir hatten einen Koch, ein Zeltbauer und unseren Wildführer. Alle hatten sich super bemüht und es war ein tolls Erlebnis. Das Essen war sehr gut für diese Bedingungen und das Uebernachten war so wie bei den Pfadfinder, echt naturnah! "Gweta Lodge was a perfect break point in our journey, we stayed two nights. The staff are super friendly and helpful. We had a lovely village walk one morning, and then enjoyed the evening drive to the pans visiting the Bushmen and the meerkats on the way. Alle Zelte liegen perfekt mit Blick auf dem Fluss, die Verpflegung ist sehr gut. Auch in Bezug auf die Nachhaltigkeit gibt sich das Camp große Mühe. "A fabulous place with the most friendly and accommodating staff. Nothing was too much trouble. Our guide was the most knowledgeable man who knew the name of every bird and animal we saw. He could spot the smallest bird at the top of a tree whilst driving. He found us our first Leopard - amazing. "This was our second visit to Deception Valley. We enjoyed our first visit so much we went back. The guides are very knowledgeable compared to some other camps we have visited and the trackers are outstanding. The walk with the Bushmen through the brush is truly a unique experience.
