"Florette was wonderful and the breakfast that was included was fantastic. Loved my comfortable room that has everything I needed, including hot plate, microwave and fridge. You can walk to the center of town where everything is, along the waterfront in 10 minutes. I took the ferry to Guatemala one day. One thing to point out is that one bedroom only had bunk beds, but the pictures make it look like there are three regular sized beds. Not a deal breaker, but could be important if you are planning on rooms for three couples. "

I chose this location because it was far away from the hustle and bustle of town, but also planned on using the bicycles mentioned in the listing to get around, as taxis are incredibly expensive. No bikes, and they’re not replacing them, so if you need to get to the grocery store it’s about a 30 min walk. I recommend going right when they open at 8am before it gets too hot. "Adorable house, perfect view, great location. We had the best time here. The shower head was not great, the wifi didn’t work (and wasn’t resolved during our stay) and the shoreline was very littered which is sad for such a beautiful place. The beach out front of the house was pristine though. The kayak is a bonus. Saw some rays off the dock. Best morning coffee spot ever!"
