"Lodge was great with a really lovely view and very comfy beds. Kitchen looked a bit tired with chipped worktops and it would be useful to have some drawers in the built in wardrobe areas for smaller items that don't need hanging. restaurant had good selection and food was good. Pool area, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi were good."

"Extremely spacious, well equipped clean rooms except a couple of the window areas. External stairwell had a lot of flying insects which was off putting (assume attracted inside from woods to the lights)"

"Stayed in a superior triple room which has plenty of space/storage and a fantastic view across Morecambe bay. Some of the fittings were a little tired but everything functioned as it should and was cleaned to a good standard. The staff are friendly and helpful, taking the time to explain where everything was for the breakfast buffet. Breakfast consists of a small selection of cereals, yoghurt and English breakfast items, as well as tea/coffee, bread for toasting and individually wrapped...

"Loved the quirky fixtures and fittings in the room."

"Best Holiday Inn we've stayed in! We had a disabled access room and it was huge! Very clean. Absolutely most effective AC we've had in a UK hotel! Staff friendly. Hotel welcoming with free refreshments at reception. Breakfast good."

"For the price we paid it was very acceptable and the breakfast was good. We would stay again"

"We had a brilliant stay, the room was very clean, well appointed and had a beautiful bathroom. We also really loved the pool and spa. Highly recommend for a lovely relaxing stay."

"Lovely old building, well located and enough parking at the back of hotel in side street. Comfortable bed, room was well maintained, especially the bathroom. Room was spacious enough for one person."

"Lovely owners who have run this place for over 40 years. It is set back in time, early 80s and an education and experience of that. However does have Wifi and central to the Town. I was upgraded to a larger room with en suite without asking which was a nice touch. Pleasantly surprised with the cost that it included breakfast, I had porridge, fruit juice, cooked breakfast and toast. All floors have stairs which would not be suitable for the less mobile."

"Convenient location. Easy parking. Continental breakfast was a bit basic, You get what you pay for and for the low price you can't expect the ritz. Would probably stay there again if I ever go to Morecambe again."

"The location was perfect - at the north end of the bay with a lovely sea view - and was very clean with everything I needed in my room. I did feel very young - I'm 64! - but thankfully only used the hotel as a one night stay and didn't spend any time in it, other than to shower, change & sleep. So for me, it was exactly what I wanted. I wouldn't use it to stay and spend time there though as there never seemed to be anyone on the reception or at the bar (which I only visited once) but someone...

"Could not fault it! We stayed in the orient room and were very impressed, the hot tub is nice and private also."

"Good value accommodation, pleasant and comfortable in a good location. Bed was comfortable. Kitchenette was well equipped and it was relatively easy to gain access to the property. The proprietor was was helpful when I needed to contact them regarding confirmation."

"Lovely renovated sea view room, quiet. Great breakfast. Only downside was the lack of an elevator. Staff were really helpful and allowed a late checkout, organised at breakfast with no problem."
