"Property just as described. Slight problem on Christmas Day, but this was responded to immediately. It needed to reset the fire alarm but was resolved quickly. However, there was a "bleep" sound from the control box in the hall after this, which was very close to the pillow of the lower bunk where our son slept. His sleep was interrupted, but otherwise all went as planned. Many thanks Steve Sedwell"

"The cottage is quirky with exposed wooden beams in the upstairs rooms. Suited us fine for a three night stay. Spotlessly clean and in a quiet location. The Chalet tea rooms does a very nice breakfast and is right next door. Keswick is an easy walk of about a mile.There is no village shop."

"Fell View provided us with the perfect home from home to return to after a long day walking on the fells. We really appreciated the calm feel of the cottage, the impressive hot shower and extremely comfortable bed.
