"Stunning location, fantastic space around each cabin. The underfloor heating and fireplace made a huge difference and the fact that they were on when we arrived was awesome. We didn’t see or need the staff while we were there so can’t comment on them but likewise we didn’t need them. I would suggest that the cleaners need to invest in some feather dusters to get rid of cobwebs; there was quite a few on our cabin but we loved our stay and will go again."

"Our cabin was mostly clean apart from a few dust webs that only showed up when the lights were on. All the important surfaces, (benchtop/shower/toilet) were spotless. Bed was comfortable and warm. Lovely lass in the reception/cafe/dining area of the lodge pretty much doing everything as it's 'off season' so very quiet. Had a lovely chat with the owner, Michael, before dinner re his history at the lodge and his signature branded rum, gin, wine etc. The lodge is very welcoming with a warming...

We unfortunately were woken up at 6:30am to power tools and work being done on the room next door to us. The noise was quite ear blistering and we quickly checked out of our room as most of the motel was having work done that we were not made aware of"
