"Check in was very quick and easy. Hotel was very quiet and room was comfortable. The ice machine did not work but the desk clerk came and knocked on our door with a bucket of ice for us. I will definately check this hotel out the next time I have to stay in the Fort Wayne area. "

"We stayed for one night with smaller kids. We didn’t have a shower curtain upon arrival but the front office was quick to get us one. The pool water was freezing. The staff said they turned the heater on but by the time we left it was still cold. Floors were a little dirty in the room, ice machine was down, bed was comfortable, and breakfast was decent! We would stay here again and maybe call before to have the pool heater turned on prior to the stay."

"Cute, cozy cabin with a fully equipped kitchen and a large outdoor space for entertaining or relaxing by the lake and fire. Note that there’s no TV. WiFi was good for us. Lots of windows to let natural light in. We had a good time and will certainly be back!"

"Good start. Needs bathroom remodel and or 1/2 bath upstairs. Master bedroom door could not be closed maybe needs new hardware. Needs sitting bench in master bedroom for putting on shoes. Matress in double bed needs to be replaced is uncomfortable. More towel racks. Otherwise great kitchen, wifi and living area Thank you!"

"Wonderful property! Everything well done, clean, and, nice furnishings. Well stocked kitchen, bath linens and heat was warm during cold days. Garage at top level full of games refrigerator and TV. Grand kids loved the games and to lay on the bunk beds in the bunk room and play their IPads when they got screen time. . The main floor has beautiful view and great setup for tv room. Main bedroom feels like a small castle bedroom. There’s a sitting space with TV and 2 lovely bedrooms in lower floor...

"We thoroughly enjoy our mid-week stay on Big Barbee, with a small group of friends & family. We rented a pontoon from Socks Marina, for early morning fishing at Barbee & Irish Lake. The local restaurants were within walking distance. Thank you so much!"

"This is such a lovely property right on the lake. We loved the large patio and took advantage of the firebowl in the evenings. We also appreciated being able to have our doggies with us. We also like that it's close to two golf courses we enjoy playing. "

"There was an undisclosed prior to arrival, $6 per day fee. It is unclear what that fee was for. The elevator was broken. It seems like it had been broken for a while. They said a phone was dropped down the elevator shaft and broke the elevator. They said the part would be there Monday but that seems like they probably have been saying that for a while now. This made getting luggage to the room a big hassle. Breakfast was good. Doors in the room to the bathroom were VERY narrow"
