"While the house was very nice it was not functional for 6 people. One 3 person couch and 1 table that seats 4. The kitchen had 3 plates and 3 bowls and minimal silverware. No utensils except for bar-b-que. 1 towel/washcloth per person allotment per day. Therefore had to do laundry every day. VERY narrow and STEEP driveway. Neighborhood looked concerning but we had no problems with neighbors. Definitely need earplugs to sleep because of the trains. "

"Host was very friendly and easy to work with. The house was very clean. The community was inviting. That house was only five minutes off of the highway situated in Dalton Georgia. Close too many very nice restaurants."

"If you love Medieval settings, this place is amazing."

"Loved our stay at Maxine's Lake house. We were in town for our nieces baby shower and this house gave us the room to invite our kids and their pet to join. Each morning was able to fish right off the back deck. Very convenient location. Maxine communicates very well and will make your stay enjoyable."

"Communication with host was slow. We needed to cancel one of the nights we booked and it wasn’t easy. I had to continuously keep going between the VRBO team and host to get refunded. The house was spacious and clean however the sheets & towels were old and stained."

"Room had everything we needed, cable TV, microwave, fridge, all at a fair price. Good option if you need basic amenities."

"Cabin was exactly as desxribed. Very cute and cozy. Host was awesome."

"The property was just as described, and we would love to come back sometime. One night just wasn't enough. Watching the sunset from the dock was very tranquil, and the cabin had everything we needed plus some nice extra touches."

"This was a wonderful stay while we were visiting family in Ooltewah. We were able to bring our two dogs and they could enjoy the outdoor area when we were at the Brookside Cottage. The cottage was extremely clean and the host very responsive and friendly! "

"Very nice people that work there. My biggest complaint is no elevators, no dish sponge, knife to cut fruit, kleenex, paper towels. Otherwise ok."
