"We booked this property because of EV charging but they only had it for one kind of EV which we don’t own. They should specify which kind they offer. We were stressed about making it to another town to get charged. The room was very warm with dirty floors and hair in the badly stained shower. I know it’s a historic site but we it was hard to enjoy given the condition of our room. The best part was the staff, they were great."

"There was not anything unique about the property. It was an older hotel which we will stay at on occasion. The problem came when we entered our room and had to kill three roaches within the first five minutes. It was very late, so we did not call the front desk. Hotels were in short supply because of the time of year(Keeneland.) We did not bother to take advantage of the complimentary breakfast...if there are roaches in the room, there are most definitely roaches in the kitchen."

"This hotel is exactly what you need if you want a no-frills, clean place to stay while traveling. The price is good and the place is comfortable."

"Beautiful and charming accommodations! Unique experience stepping into history. Breakfast and the night time dessert were fantastic."

"Carol and Rich were wonderful hosts! They made sure we had everything we needed, were very accommodating, and served 5 star breakfasts. The pool was sublime, the sun room was magical. We can’t say enough about how special we felt during our stay!"

"What a great location for our friends' getaway. Cindy was so helpful and accommodating. She brought up fresh corn and tomatoes that were so good. The house is within 30-40 minutes to many of the big distilleries."

"Great experience! Kids loved the loft area!"

"Tons of ants, dry blood on sheets, bloody hand print on the wall, sheets smelled horrible. Nice place but dirty sheets and dry blood in several spots. I think someone forgot to clean it before we came"

"We were pleased with our stay and the place overall. We brought kids with us and they enjoyed the downstairs area and the games. The basement is what you would expect from a basement with games in it, I think it would be nice to have some foam mats or something but my kids didn't seem to mind after a while. The host was SUPER quick to reply to any message and offered help when needed. The road is described as bumpy, we used the steeper entrance and that was fine. Yes, it is a dirt road and...

"Great vintage but modernized farmhouse. Beautiful property."

"The pictures do not do the home justice! It’s gorgeous! The bedrooms are huge! Very comfortable and clean. Encourage everyone to look up the history of Perryville during your stay!"

"Great place to relax with the family - especially if they’re into LOTR. Our kids loved it and the host was great. Very welcoming and responsive."

"The farmhouse is such a wonderful getaway spot! The spacious interior, the wrap-around porch, and the beautiful land and wooded surroundings are ideal for anyone yearning for some peace and tranquility.Communicating with the host was an easy and friendly experience. I am a repeat visitor!"

"Peaceful and simple. The beds were all very comfortable, great kitchen with everything you need, and a beautiful backyard. The hosts were very communicative and recommended a great place for a Friday night dinner. Our stay exceeded my expectations. "

"What an incredible stay! The pictures don’t do it justice! Unique doesn’t even begin to describe this property especially when you consider all of the difficult work it took to put it there. It was exceptionally clean, nice and quite just how we (and our furbaby) love it! Fantastic location as well, we were able to go to our top 3 bourbon distilleries and they were all within an hour away. The host was super easy to get ahold of as well with any questions that I had. We have already recommended...

"Nice cabin, in addition to a couple roku TVs the kitchen was well stocked (with utensils, you still have to bring your own groceries) and there was a good selection of books, board games, cleaning supplies, etc. Pet friendly, good communication from the owner. Very nice, quiet property. There was a thunderstorm over the weekend and I almost thought it had completely missed us because I couldn't hear it from inside. The owner left very detailed instructions for what to do in case of severe...
