"The rooms need a major upgrade My bedspread had a big hole in it and the room smell horrible. The shower head was broken so I had to fix it enough to take a shower and the breakfast is not worth eating. I checked out way before checkout time!!!!!!"

"The outside lawn needed to be mowed and edged. Weeds needed to be pulled from the rose garden. A pool had a black torn tarp and was not available to use. A coke machine was out of order. The room itself was okay. Bed sheets clean. The bathroom floor needed to be scrubbed. The tile and grout needed to be scrubbed."

"This place is in need of a lot of attention to deal with the deferred maintenance and bring it back up to an acceptable level. I wouldn’t stay here again. It should also be noted that there was no one on site and you were required to go to the convenience store next-door to check in and get your key."

"Actually, the place was better than advertised. Compared to other places, I found it easy to maneuver my F250 and bass boat in and out of the property. I also enjoyed having covered parking for my boat. With the lake water levels being low, I didn't get to utilize the neighborhood boat ramp, but Powell Park wasn't far away. The neighborhood appeared secure with minimal traffic and the home was very clean having everything a fisherman would need. Will definitely be back."

"The cabin was a bit too tiny and parking was inconvenient. Definitely climate control issues in the cabin. The lake was very low so there really wasn’t a beach when we visited. However, the host/owner were very nice and responsive. The property grounds were well kept, clean, and pretty."

"The property was great, very peaceful, quiet neighborhood. Friendly neighbors who keep an eye on things and really make things feel safe. Lots of shade trees, and walking distance from the water even though the lake was about 8ft low. We were able to beach our boat and walk to the house. Also, there was plenty of room to park the truck and boat in the driveway. Also, a great location on the lake.The house itself was clean and had just what we needed. "Cabin was absolutely beautiful and very clean. The outdoor deck was a fabulous spot to hang out with the family. My only negatives…were the extra firm beds and not being able to access the open water, even with waders, due to sinking in the mud. Adding a couple of paddle boats- 1 for each cabin- would be a huge bonus, but you can’t help the lake levels. All in all, we had a fabulous stay. "
