"Dated and could be better maintained. Fine for a quick stay. Not great. Not horrible."

"Apart from a few stray hairs and very mild stains on the bedding (which seems to be the case at the vast majority of places), the room was very clean and cozy. Well lit room, great shower, immaculately clean bathroom, mini fridge, microwave, good wifi, very effective heater, and (free) parking very close to room. Staff was very welcoming upon arrival, and everything worked as expected, making White Oaks an amazing value for my stay in the area!"

"Room had a mildew odor, TV only had 26 channels, Air Conditioner/Heating system was not working properly, no phone landlind in the room. The whole 1st floor hallway had a stinky odor. Felt very uncomfortable in the room. Weird sounds all night long. Seemed more like a shelter for homeless individuals. "

"Our stay was absolutely delightful. We own a small business that is crazy busy the last quarter of the year. This was a chance to reset and breathe. This house was stunning with the colors, furnishings and situation to the lake with all the windows. The fireplace gave a charming feel and we loved using it every single day. "Well they have you sign bunch of papers and you dont understand what he is saying to you since talks so fast and English not first language then take additional $100 from credit card that will be returned. They never returned mine for what reason I have none nor was I sent anything explaining why it wasn't returned. I did nothing but spend the night quietly by myself. "

We received the automated VBRO message stating that we would receive check in information from our host on 23NOV25; however, we did not. "Foxtail house is a comfortable, spacious and peaceful retreat. Located on a stunning section of tidal river you will find yourself mesmerized by the wildlife, bird song and the play of light on the marsh grasses. We were a group of 6 family members attending a days long memorial gathering and we were very thankful to be able to return to such a lovely home at the end of the day.
