However, the front desk person was polite and courteous to the male person in the party upon check out. BTW the female person was the person who paid for the room. Breakfast was adequate but simple. The walls are thinning and you could hear other patrons most of the time in our room."

"This is a very unique place and I really enjoyed my stay. I had a suite and it was very luxurious. I was facing the movie screen which was great on movie night as I could watch from my patio. My only issue was that an hour before the movie they started playing loud music on the speakers. I had just returned from an active day and was enjoying a few quiet moments with a book. There was no escaping all the noise, unlike the volume from the movie, which was reasonable. I was surprised because the...

"Great retro/modern room, huge bed & walk-in shower, very nice upgrade. Loved the self-check-in! My only issue was mood lighting that isn't conducive to makeup application. But I found out this morning they have makeup mirrors in the canteen, so problem solved! Well appointed, large room. I loved it!"

"This was a lovely VRBO. Spacious, clean, well stocked and even fresh flowers! Only hitch was due to my map reading skills- while Expedia claimed it was 19 miles from Great Sand Dunes National Park it was actually an hour drive away! That said there was some other great hiking nearby (recommend Willow Lake Trail). Thanks for a nice stay!"

"Entry to the room meant walking thru a wide 1/2 grass 1/2 mud backyard in the dark due to our 8 pm arrival! This meant of course, carrying a large suitcase rather than being able to use the wheels. For this reason, I would not stay here again nor would I recommend it "
